Very Good 9/1/2003

This is a very nice place. The atmosphere is very romantic, the service is great and the food is devine! The only negitive with the day I went, is the air conditioning was on very high and I was a bit chilly. Pros: Very good food, good service, nice atmosphere Cons: ac on too high more

Exceptional Restaurant!!! 8/7/2003

This place is anything but your neighborhood steakhouse. Even though it may be slightly more expensive than your usual restaurant chain, IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!! I highly recommend Heartland, whether you're alone, with a friend, or with a group - they cater to all numbers. There is something for everyone at Heartland - steak, seafood, pasta, chicken, salads, and more - not to mention great wine and desserts. They also have a bar you can visit to remedy a long day at work or where you can relax with friends or watch the game. Treat yourself to Heartland once and you'll be hooked - good atmosphere, friendly staff, and most of all GREAT FOOD!!! Pros: no wait, great staff, generous portions Cons: dinner/evening only more

Great Experience for Steak Lovers 8/2/2003

Beautiful interior design, very warm and welcoming. Super friendly Staff. We were a party of eight and tried a wide variety of menu offering and all were exceptionally prepared and presented. Service was excellent and prompt. Price extremely fair for quality of food and service. We could not believe a restaurant of this caliber was located on the outskirts of Hillsborough. Our new favorite Steakhouse! Pros: Welcoming, Great Menu, Fantastic Steaks! Cons: Not in Chapel Hill more

A great place! 2/24/2003

The service was impeccable! It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The food is seasoned just right and the portion sizes are not miniscule like most gourmet restaurants. Overall, it's a really great buy! Weekends need reservations, but not weeknights. Pros: Nice atmosphere, Wonderful service, Excellent preparation Cons: A little expensive more
