We have stayed in various places around town for different events (usually related to the University) and this has been the most accommodating to date. The hotel was in the process of being remodeled but we hardly noticed. The staff is friendly and free amenities (like wi-fi and parking) really add up. The rooms were SPOTLESS, honestly the cleanest we have ever seen. You can't beat customer service and cleanliness when it comes to hotel stays. We will be back! more

We come to Iowa City annually for a college reunion and chose to stay at this hotel in November. We have been getting together for years, bouncing around to different hotels, but this was our 1st stay at the Heartland Inn. I have to say, this was the best experience that we have ever had! The front desk was very helpful and polite. We met the manager who was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. They had a convenient shuttle that took us everywhere we needed to go so we did not have the hassle of driving and parking in IC. The rooms were very clean and looked remodeled. One of our friends is VERY particular and this was the 1st time that a hotel on our trip has met her standards(major feat!!!). We will defintely make the Heartland Inn our stay for future reunions and would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!!!!!! more

I want to thank the classy lady that shows up every morning before sunrise. Not sure of her name, it must be Deborah. She is so hospitable & professional. A real breath of fresh air! I saw her everywhere throughout my stay here. She was always asking how my foot was & wondering how I was doing. She was like my Mom... always concerned! Thank you so much!!! more

We chose Heartland Inn - Coralville after reading the reviews. The biggest perk for us was the proximity to UIHC and the shuttle service to UIHC. That was our reason for being in the area and that was HUGE for us. We were VERY happy with everything. The Room was so nice and breakfast was really good. This will definitely be our choice if we need to come again. What a GEM!! It's close to anything you might need and we were THRILLED with the choice. We would recommend booking directly with the hotel. They can save you money. (The only negative thing I can say is that the shower curtain needs to have magnets on the bottom so it sticks to the tub and not to you!! ) more

I enjoyed the stay. The front desk helped us get in a little early so we could change for the wedding and we appreciated that very much. Overall, it was fine. no frills but didn't cost an arm and a leg. Have stayed there before and will stay there again I'm sure. more

I just want to say that The Heartland does what most chain of hotels don't. They put on a fantastic breakfast w/all the trimmings!!! Compliments to the cook who makes the biscuits-n-gravy! The young man that makes the cakes-n-waffles is very friendly & always has the customer service attitude that I appreciate! Very nice young man! more

friendly I went there after slipping on the ice during one of our rare Atlanta snowstorms. I was certainly glad that this clinic was near my home and open because I was not able to get to my regular doctor's office. The staff was friendly and professional. After taking xrays, they assured me that my injuries were not serious. I'm still a little sore but already starting to get a little better. I strongly recommend this clinic!!! more

What a find. I was completely impressed with this hotel. The staff was amazing. I arrived early and they got me right in. I was there on a Wednesday and was so surprised that they offered a dinner which was complimentary to the guest. It was really nice not to have to leave to try and find something to eat after a long day at the hospital. The breakfast in the morning was also greatly appreciated. I have stayed in many hotels both old and new, I have never been wowed before but this hotel definitely has the WOW factor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into the Iowa City area more
