My father had several urinary tract infection in the\r 5 1/2 months at this facility. He contracted an \r infection every 2-3 weeks. He was discharged\r with a very bad urinary tract infection that \r resulted in a 2 week hospitalization. He has\r not had another urinary tract infection in more\r than 3 months he has been away from Heartland. - \r For some unknown reason they did not propery give him\r his Alzheimer's medicines which probably contributed\r to him no continuing his rehabilitation. This is\r still adversely impacting his life. more

Very clean and great location 11/16/2005

My daughter's Girl Scout Troop met here once a month. Every time we had a meeting, the place was very clean. The rooms were decorated nicely and the walls were cheerful. The activity chart always had something planned for every day of the week. During Halloween and other times when we were able to mingle with the residents, they (the residents) all seems to be very happy. Because of the location and the overall atmosphere, I assume the cost of housing here is expensive, but I have not verified since I do not have a need. PROS: Clean and cheerful CONS: Not sure more
