For an African owned salon it was very clean and the service was nice. I was taken right back when I arrived and Clara did a good job with my hair. Would recommend. more

Professional Service 1/11/2012

I started my locs at another shop and regretted it. The lady did not do anything to keep my scalp from getting dry. Needless to say with my scalp dry and sore I searched for a place that would take total care of my head. The Healthy Hair Center does that. I received a hot oil treatment that is included in the maintenance price! She made sure my scalp was moisturized. This shop is very professional and knows how to take care of natural hair! more

I don't often write reviews. However, I would like to say I had a pleasant experience and I was thrilled with the finished product. I also like the level of concern they had with the health of my hair instead of just how fast they could style it. I recommend, this place and will return again. more

Really liked how my hair turned out 6/21/2011

I worked with one of the new stylists in the shop and she was fantastic. She paid attention to details and made sure that I was comfortable and she was pleasant throughout to talk to and she made sure before I left that I understood how to take care of my hair and that I was satisfied with her work. I am planning on going back to her from this point forward. more

I had a hard time with parking at the new location. Parking directions should be posted prominently on the website . Also, it would be great to get a breakdown of charges on the receipt or an explanation of charges without the client having to ask "how much does this cost". Would just make it even more professional. Was happy with the service and my hair turned out very nice more

Great service and finished product 12/14/2010

It's not too often that I leave a braid salon and I'm happy with the results. I'm glad to say I was extremely pleased before even leaving. I got senegalese twists and it only took 4 hours. Granted the braids aren't tiny and it's not a lot of hair, which I REALLY appreciate. I will definitely be back in two months or so and plan to try other styles too. more

Great Place 10/9/2010

This place is great. It is very clean and well kept. My appointment started on time. She did't stop until she was done. It took four hours to complete my micros. Amazing, this has never happen before. Emilie is great, I will be back!!!! more
