I have been on this plan for over 5 years, is very affordable, hasn't gone up very much over the years. My family has had several claims and they have always paid as promised. Local agent was very helpful and honest about the plan. Pros: Affordable, local agent, very honest, claims paid Cons: none so far! more

Oh come on, I was desperate! I was out of a job for 6 months and behold HealthMarket Services found me. I am writing this to make people aware of these people and if someone can google this and be saved then good. \r \r I got hired instantly by Mark Dunlap who, in a group interview promised great wealth and sales services rewarded with grand trips all across the world. BULLS**T! I had so much going on in my life and needed a job, I was ready to believe anything and I did. \r \r Within a week they had 175.00 out of me for what Mark Dunlap and Sam Thompson had told me it was for school, because I had to go to school to receive an insurance license, therefore, I gave them the money. Then I get home and his assistant e-mails me with school information and made me pay 89.00. Come to find out the 175.00 was because I went to meet them and it was for my background check. WHAT!?\r \r Now they have gotten 264.00 out of me and I haven’t even started working there yet. I can’t be hired FULLY until I am licensed. Sam Thompson continues to pressure me into taking the state exam early for my health license which cost 106.00 to take the exam and I failed. I had 4 days to study… you would have too. \r \r Now, even though I failed they pushed me into Mark Dunlap’s training and here’s where the red flags come up! Come to find out in order to buy their insurance you have to pay them to become a “member.” It’s a hidden 40.00 fee that they tack on to all policies. They say they are cheaper but they aren’t! Because of all the trouble they have been they are always changing their names… THE MEGA LIFE, NASE, CORNERSTONE AMERICA OR UGA. Watch out for any of these companies. They rip-off their employees and their clients. HealthMarket Services promises things they can never live up to and just take your money.
