Heads Together Video & Dvd

While it is true that the store has a reasonable selection, the rudeness of the owner and the staff (who I assume learn this from the owner) is beyond belief. Consider this: Threatening to send you to the collection agency without giving you a chance to pay a late fee. I dropped off a video 10 days late, (the store was closed)... thinking I will pay off when I was next in the area. No such luck. A few days later, I get a 'courtesy call' FROM THE OWNER that the video was late and that I should come and THAT VERY DAY or they would send me to the collection agency. Is that not illegal? .. I am as forgetful as the next guy in sometimes not returning movies on time but have never ever defaulted on my dues. I was a customer for 7 years and now will never ever go back. more

Heads Together is a great neighborhood video store in Squirrel Hill. They tend of have most of the current hit movies (though not in the quantity that blockbuster stocks them). Their selection of independent, foreign, and art house movies certainly makes up for this. A lot of their selection is still VHS, so it helps to have a VCR not just a DVD player. They haven't kept up with any of the new offers from the competition like unlimited movies for a flat months fee or no late fees. more
