We had a bad experience moving from Austin to Sacramento. When we finally learned the insurance company's name, we were first asked to identify the driver. We cannot reach American by phone--a recorded message offers insurance then disconnects--or by email. An American employee stole from us: a diamond ring and a bottle of narcotics. The driver was a witness to a statement the man made but the company didn't follow through, despite the driver's calls to his dispatcher in St. Louis. It has been a long, frustrating experience trying to file a claim over extensive damage.
