I have visited Hazellewood Grill 3 times, (pretty good for a city gal), and all 3 meals were excellent. I have to admit I am partial to the walleye, which is served with 2 generous pecan crusted filets with wild rice. The fish was perfectly done and while the wild rice had good flavor, it could use the addition of some julienned carrots, green onion, roasted red peppers and/or chives to add color. My husband had the meat loaf with an unbelieveably good Madiera mushroom sauce and a parmesan chicken with a roasted tomato sauce that was fantastic. Another friend had a perfectly prepared prime rib medium rare, and for those of us who care, it was really medium rare.
Pros: Food and friendly service
Cons: Sometimes slow on busy nights
