Worthy and important organization, however, the woman conducting the show Wednesday, January 29th for Cub Scouts and Webelos at Mesa Middle School was sarcastic, rude and condescending. First, she asked the boys to ""scoot in close, there, that's not a difficult concept is it?"" She told the boys they would ""get to take a picture with the birds if you sit still"" but only a handful of the boys were able to get pictures even though most sat still throughout the entire presentation. She should have explained the rules first about how they earn a picture. She should have also mentioned videos were not allowed. That would have saved parents from being embarrassed since she felt the need to admonish them. She didn't know her audience. These are elementary-aged boys and she grew impatient with them for not knowing the opposite of nocturnal asking them ""no one must want to see the rest of the birds then?"" When a 6 year-old boy answered a question incorrectly she said, ""No! You WEREN'T listening!"" Come on, really? Is she committed to reaching out to young children to help peak their interest and curiosity? There are more examples to share but you probably get my point now. I was extremely disappointed with this woman's behavior towards young children. Which is unfortunate because this is a great cause and worthy of participating in. When the organization was contacting regarding this concern, my rating of three stars and comment (same as above) was deleted. They claimed they have never received a negative comment before. Well Hawkquest, maybe that's because you delete them all!\r
