****** Update to continued bad dealership practices***** 2012 review. I think I already wrote a negative review last year for this dealership. Now following up on continued issues with this place. I had purchased an extended warranty last year. A year later now, my car has a small issue that should be covered under warranty. I called GM to verify this and low and behold, the dealer never sent in the information. What a surprise! So I have waited weeks now for them to follow up on this. Never once getting a call, saying sorry for the oversight, or incompetence. I even took a day off yesterday to take my car into a closer GM dealer, as I would never go back to this place. Went to take my car in, assured that the information was faxed in. But no, its not in the system, and they couldnt repair my vehicle. On top of that they wanted to charge me for the diagnostic, which I refused to pay. So they called Hawk Chevrolet and they said they would pay for the diagnostic, yet they still couldn't clarify with this dealer that I truly do have a warranty I paid for. So I left the dealer with my car still having issues and taking a day off for nothing. Called Hawk Chevrolet and Maggie when I returned home. Call went to voicemail, never got a returned call back. At no point have I gotten a call from Hawk, after calling twice, and still am in limbo to get my car fixed. Nice dealership!
****2011 review. Bad Dealership. Don't go here. I was looking for a used Pontiac G8 and there aren't many around in the colors I was looking for. They had one at Hawk though. I guess that is the only good thing I can say about the dealership, is they had the car I was looking for. The salesman tried to rip me off on my trade in after we had all the numbers agreed on. I had to come back in on the next day to finalize the deal and then noticed my trade in amount was different from what we agreed on the day before, and it was even written up on the paper in the folder there, and I had to argue about it. Also after a long day there, and when ready to leave, I get in the car and notice that the gas gage has barely a 1/4 of a tank. I looked around for the salesman, but he left by then. So talked to the manager who helped out on my deal, and he was even more of an ass. He tells me that's all the gas they put in for a used car. It's a $25,000 car I purchased and that's what they give you? I had more gas in my car that I traded in, they should have siphoned out the gas from my tank and given it to me. Also when leaving and having the car certified, I was told they ordered me another key, and had to come back in to get in programmed. Its now over 2 months later, and haven't gotten a key or a word about it. This place sucks. Worst part is the whole time there, they preach to you about how they take care of people. I have gotten some copy and pasted emails and letters in the mail, how if I am not 100% satisfied to let them know. Well they should know you aren't satisfied when you treat your customer bad, try to rip them off, and lie about things you will do for them. I would say the finance woman was nice, honest, and helpful. So if I could give this place Zero stars I would, and would not only not recommend this dealer to others, I would tell people to definitely not go there.
