Havoline Xpress Lube

In Looking for a recent oil change I went to Texaco Express Lube in Pinellas Park, Fla. I asked them not to overfill on the oil and overtighten the drain plug. They said they did not at the end of the service and of course tried to sell me a host of other services which I declined. A day later i decided to check my oil to see if they did overfill and found it to be real low. I checked underneath and found a large puddle of oil. I went to a close by Jiffy lube and we could see it was leaking very badly, A check indicated they had left off the oil plug gasket. and this is where the leak was. If I had not checked their work I would have lost my engine in a few more days for Lack of oil. SLOPPY WORK!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR TO THESE MEN WHO WEAR THE STAR. Go somewhere else!!! I wanted to leave this feedback on their site, but it would not take it. I did notice there was another BAD review there so I was not the only one who got crappy service there. SHAME ON YOU. I plan on letting EVERYONE I can know about this and recommend anywhere else. more

I visitied this business to have my oil changed. I had no problems with my car or oil whatsoever prior to this visit. The technicians attempted to offer many other services that I declined and told them to please just change the oil. When they handed me my receipt they had typed in "Oil leaks on arrival". This was not true. After I had left the shop and the days following, I noticed oil stains in my driveway, indicating a leak. I had no leak prior to visiting Xpress Lube. \r I then had to take my car to my mechanic who I trust. He told me they had stripped the oil plug badly and that now I would need a new oil pan. This will cost me approx $235. Xpress Lube tried to cover their mistake by lying and writing that there was an existing problem on the receipt. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! more
