Previously Pearl, then Apple Lounge then Haute..... It has 'Disaster' writte all over i when the new owners decided to have a door man as the general manager. Haute was never HOT. It went down hill faster than a bobsleigh. Easily one of the most awkward venue in Hollywood. The layout is unbelievably awful. I mean why cant the owner just buy the entire building and resize the club? Well its closing for refurbishment and the new owner is the same owner of Empire. Therefore, you can expect the new venue to be crap and end up just like Empire. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. i went to haute on saturday night and the club was cool when we first got in there. we go danced got some drinks or what not. All was going well and then my friends started to get suuuuuuper trashed. i went with 12 of my friends and 6 out of 12 dont remember a thing last night. My friend ended up getting jumped and my other friends were throwing up like crazyy. So the drive home we started to drive home and i think we had to stop on the side of the road so my friends can throw up. So long story short they woke up and DONT REMEMBER A THING!!! 6 of my friends completely blacked out and woke up with the worst hangovers of their lives. I think they got ruffied either by a person or the bartender. Was not a good experience!!! more

I loved this place when it was Apple and I love it even more now that it's Haute! There' isn't that much different other than some serious decorating which looks much better than before. Saturday nights here are packed so I'd recommend arriving early and personally I have yet to try the food as I hear it's yummy. I went to the Haute on Saturday night with two of my buddies. We parked at the valet, which was right next to the club and pay $10. Being on the list, we got in right away :). The men to women ratio worked to our favor :) There were a lot of good looking women there that night. The drinks were a bit pricy as any typical Hollywood club, but the bartenders were good looking and gave good service.\r The club offered a really special atmosphere and we enjoyed wondering around and mingle between the different rooms with the unique designs. \r The only cons were the line to the bathroom, which was too long. It was only in the end of the night that I learned that they have few more other bathrooms in there haha\r Overall: Defiantly got back there to check it out\r Tip: Make sure to arrive early if you are not on the list. If you are a group of guys make sure to get a bottle service or at least arrive with a group of good looking women if you want to get quick without paying cover Pros: the people, the music, the different rooms and the patio! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.....The bouncer is unprofessional and the promotors seem to be afraid of him. They tried to make this club look like it is exclusive but once you get inside you will see the ugliest crowd. If you wanna meet and be around beautiful people... then DONT go there. On top of that it is extremely crowed and very hot and musty!!!!!! The drink are even horrible. I asked for a raspberry lemon drop and got some green crap in a martini glass..... On top of it alll..... when you go to pick up your car from ""valet"", you have to walk through an alley, a parking lot, then cross the street and there you will find the ""valet"".....Are you seriously kidding!!!! The ONLY plus about this place was one, and only one bartender that knew what he was doing. Good luck finding him. Another than that, this was the worse club i've been to.
