John has worked on a number of finishing projects for me over the past couple of years. Whether stripping and refinishing a Governor Winthrop Desk that was my great grandfather, finishing a buffet table that was my great grandmothers or an original piece I build for my daughters wedding, John has produced outstanding results. His warm personality, patience in explaining the process and options available, knowledge of all things furniture instills trust in him. Hatfield & Sons is a wonderful family owned and run business. As a result, the personal touch you receive when you do business with them is wonderful. They are excellent craftsmen and they go above and beyond to do a great job. Their furniture refinishing is of a fantastic standard - really beautiful work. They transform some old and tired furniture into some really beautiful pieces. I highly recommend them! more
