They offer more than just hardware! 1/15/2006

A lot of people don't realize that they have people on staff who can make keys, fix lamps, sharpen knives, and match paint for you. This business is very small and service oriented, and they stock a lot of unique home, gift and garden items too. It's a pleasure just to browse. It's the kind of hardware store that ladies as well as men can just browse around in. My only issue is that they close fairly early! more

Incredible Selection of hard to find hardware 12/9/2005

Even my mother-in-law loves to go to Wisnoms. They have a great selection of fancy hardware and decorative items. If you need help deciding the best way to repair something, their staff is very helpful and will help you pick the best product to accomplish your goals. The have the largest selection of light switch plates I have ever seen, and they also have a fabulous kitchen wares section. more

Hardware store of your dreams 8/15/2005

It really is. This independent hardware store has got to be the best one I've ever seen. What they may lack in depth of inventory for any one category, they definitely make up in quality. I've never shopped for something here without finding just the right thing. The staff is especially knowledgeable and helpful. Marry Restoration Hardware to an old fashioned neighborhood hardware store and you will come close. It is definitely worth a trip out of your way. more
