Finally a real vet! My son and daughter-in-law found Dr Harwood and after years of going to different vets we finally have one who is a REAL doctor. She did a very thorough assessment, explained everything to us and was very down to earth in her treatment plans and expectations! As a nurse, I really apppreciate a good physical assessment! AND a bonus is there are separate entrances- a cat entrance and a dog entrance, for those of us who suffer from allergies! Our dogs have never been so well for so long..happy happy dogs! :D Pros: Knowledgable, thorough and professional Cons: NONE more

The absolute BEST! 4/28/2010

Having been with Coronado Veterinary Clinic for the past 8 yrs, I was hard pressed to leave them; however, as I no longer lived on or near the west side & having a new puppy that was going to need some more frequent initial visits, I decided to defer to my sisters advice & try Dr. Harwood. It's been almost a year now and I'll never look back! I have a 65 lb chow/pit mix & now a 6 mos old chihuahua/shih tzu mix that her AND her staff have been absolutely wonderful with. Even with my big ones sometimes surly demeanor & the lil ones tendency to yap. They never once even mentioned a muzzle...they instead allowed me access to be part of the examination. Thank you Harwood Veterinary Clinic! Pros: Kind, caring, patient, thorough! Cons: None more

Great service, Honest and caring 10/12/2009

Dr. Harwood has been very helpful and takes care of my puppies without issue or problem. She also took care of problems that East El Paso Vet created and denied any cuplability for. Pros: Takes care of us, Cons: none more

OUTSTANDING 8/4/2009

This place is awesome! The staff and Dr are all wonderful! Dr.Harwood was excellent in explaing everything in details. You can tell she loves her jobs and knows exactly what she is doing. She was VERY friendly! Also the clinic is very clean. more

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff and the Dr. were very nice and understood how important my dogs are to me. I would recomend this clinic to anyone and will continue to take my dogs here for the great quality of care. more

Amazing Pet Care 3/11/2008

We live on Fort Bliss, but when our dog had an emergency and the on-post vet service was closed, we called local veterinarians. Dr. Harwood saw us within two hours of my phone call, and even though we had never been there, took the time to explain the procedure even though there were other patients waiting. The surgery was done within three hours of us arriving. The desk staff were very helpful, and her techs were great with our 70 pound dog, comforting her and treating her very gently despite her somewhat intimidating appearance. more

Best of the Best 2/23/2007

I didn't think I'd find another caring vet after Dr. Bridges left but Dr. Harwood is it! She is an expert diagnostician, kind and sympathetic. Every member of her staff is professional and caring as well! I have visited several vet clinics in different parts of town and other cities but have not seen such compassion and Pros: compassionate staff Cons: small waiting room (my dog is very aggressive with other dogs!) more

Over Priced, Rude Receptionist 12/13/2006

Dr. Harwood is a great Vet, but she is over priced, and her receptionist is rude. I would suggest seeking another Clinic. My Aunt has been doing business with this Vet for some time now, and is now seeking another clinic, due to the high prices and the rude behaivor of the front desk clerk.. I believe her name is Letty. more

Simply the best! 6/22/2006

Dr. Harwood is an outstanding vet! She is caring and exceptionally knowledgeable in all areas of pet care. My dogs just love her! Another plus is the clinic staff. They, too, are kind, concerned,courteous and very helpful. There are totally separate waiting areas for dogs & cats. The whole atmosphere shows their love for pets and respect for their owners, which I have not experienced elsewhere. PROS: caring staff, convenient location & hours CONS: none more
