Harvest is a cool place, but it smells kind of bad. But the concept is great -- local people run it. In exchange for discount, you work there. All community run. You can also purchase a membership for a minor discount on all purchases (sometimes they have special days where members get 5 or even 10 percent off.)
There is an emphasis on whole foods, organics, etc. You won't find too many Ore-Ida items here.
But if that's you're thing, this is paradise.
There's also a deli counter, enviro friendly cleaning products, all sorts of stuff like that.
And the diversity of the people is astounding -- all types.
If only they could use air freshener (environmentally friendly, of course).
Oh yeah -- they sell wine too.
