My wife and I ate at Harvest for the second time this week. We eat in a vast range of restaurants, both in Manhattan as well as in the suburbs. Because we eat at a broad range of restaurants we feel that our review may have some value.
Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner of the restaurant. He introduced himself and personally sat us. The main dining area is beautiful. It has high ceilings which seem to keep the noise levels to a reasonable level. The lighting is romantic, without being too dark. The food was GREAT (we had a bass and a salmon in two very different amazing sauces) and it was very fairly priced. The wine list was very good and there were choices for vegetarians and meat lovers alike.
