Very friendly and reliable 1/23/2014

We had both our cars repaired and serviced at Hartsdale Automotive recently, they were very helpful and friendly, let me have a look under the car myself and explained to me what work has to be done. I definitely recommend this business. more

Tommy has taken care of our cars for years. He is a good and trustworthy mechanic. He points items that might be future issues but never pushes to do work for the sake of doing work. It has been a wonderful, long term relationship. more

Proper repair, but irritating remark on bill 12/12/2013

This was already the second time I brought in my car to this workshop. The oilchange was done properly, the people very friendly, but on the bill I found recommendations for further things that need to be fixed on my car. I would have appreciated to discuss this with a mechanic and to get a quote for the repair. more

family oriented and trustworthy 11/18/2013

my car started to act funny while we were on the road out of state and since i did not trust just anyone to take care of my car i called Tommy to ask what to do and he told me not to worry and found the probelm immediatly so that i coudl relax and return home without much anxiety that the car would not make it or that we would be damaging the car we got home and took the car in to Tommy and it was just as he had said nothing was wrong with the car just a freak thing when the gas attendant on the NJ turnpike did not screw the gas cap back on. more

Overcharged without asking 11/9/2013

I have been coming here for years All I wanted this time was an inspection. I also asked that the tire pressure be checked. The inspection was fine, but I was billed over $60 for wiper blades. I didn't get a call to ask if you should do this. And I already have wipers I bought myself, so I wouldn't have approved. Unfortunately, I must now go elsewhere for auto maint and repairs. more

We have been using Tommy for almost 30 years to service our cars, he is trustworthy and friendly, we have followed him around from Eastchester to Scarsdale to Hartsdale. Very happy he found Chris to partner with she is just as great as he is! more
