I had been a patient of this office for a bit more than five years. The first doctor I saw was fabulous. Dr. Lance Broy. I hope he catches this review from wherever he may be. He was caring, and genuinely interested in me and my health. He delivered my baby and continued to care for us before he left the residency program. I got a bit misty when I learned he was leaving. Everyone must move on and up, right?\r
So, the next doctor was a good one, too. As a residency program, he did his three years and was out the door like a bat out of.....The next doctor was of a different breed. My first appointment with her was a shambles. I brought my little guy in for cold/cough and fever. She came into the room and said hello to me in Spanish. Coincidentally, I am semi-fluent in Spanish, so I said ""hi"" and ""why are you speaking to me in Spanish?"" She said someone had told her I didn't speak English. I never have figured that one out. She spoke to me as if I fell off the turnip truck yesterday, ""give your baby a teaspoon of Tylenol every four hours. Do you know how much a teaspoon is?"" She proceeded to demonstrate this on a sheet of her prescription pad. The appointment ended as I said, ""look, lady, this is my second child, and I think I know what I'm doing. I simply wanted to ensure he did not have strep throat or something worse. Thank you for your services."" I refused to ever see her again. \r
That's not the end of my issues with this office. I made an appointment for a pap and a new script for birth control pills. The doctor came in, looked at my file and said I still had a few more months before I needed a pap, and wrote a year's worth of bcp's. I had my pap when I was supposed to, then called when my script for bcp ran out. They refused to give me refills enough until the next pap. They wanted me to have another! The office manager never returned my call, so I took my business elsewhere.
Pros: Office staff is courteous and helpful
Cons: Doctors are dazed and confused
