Hart County Hospital

i went to this hospital with a stomach pain, I lay in the er for 10 hrs. throwing up,and hurting so bad. Finally they admitted me. At 11:00pm my appendix burst, I then lay in the bed all night because the dr. would not come in that night so the poision in my system was awful. He did come in at 7am to do the surgery. 7 days later I was released. With the exception of one nurse the rest were not so nice. Good Luck if you go there..... more

I am sad to have to give this post to this hospital as it is my hometown hospital and my mom works here but I have to. This is the worst hospital you could imagine. We have several bad experiences with this hospital and in one case we even left and went to a nearby county to go to the hospital. We now go 45 minutes away if any of our family members has to be hospitilized and that is a shame. I wish they would shape up or close because in some circumstances from talking with other people I think deaths have occured from the inaccurate care they give. I know some of the people that work there and they are very good at what they do and really do care but they are few and far between. Complaining to the adminastration doesn't help either they continue to let things go on there and people still work that have done very undesirable things to patients and people that they should be caring for. The people in the E.R. are for the most part very rude! more
