Harrison Electric scheduled an electrician very quickly after inquiring. A small, light chandelier had been hung in the place of a long florescent tube light in the laundry room. The lights were going on but mostly off, so the wires and wing nuts needed to be looked at. The appointment is giving you the job quote, looking at other jobs you might have in your home, such as the Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detectors, etc. and you signing the forms, and where your power is. The job itself took approx. 5-15 minutes, the other part approx. 5-15 min. the light was hung already, and area covered with towels. The BILL was nearly $500.. So, the electrician was competent, prompt, friendly, and the job was done with a one-year guarantee... but it seemed very expensive, way more than the chandelier itself, and for the time and that it had already been hung... so if you don't mind paying top dollar-- they are prompt and competent, and after waiting two weeks for others to NOT even schedule an appointment or return a call, at least this vendor is qualified and reliable and polite.
