Best pet store around 7/15/2013

By far the most professional pet store in Evansville and Southern Indiana. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, great products, healthy pets, and good deals overall. They don’t sell saltwater fish anymore, but they do have a great assortment of freshwater species. Highly recommended. more

Bad Business!!! 5/20/2013

This place actually has terrible employees. They also have terrible customer service. The animals are not well cared for and it shows they are low quality with only 5 day return policy on pets. go anywhere but here!! more

Here's a tip... Get better employees!! Not teens who have no clue about half the animals you sell! Also get employees who actually want to help the customers! Also, care for the animals you have so customers get satisfactory pets!! I purchased a reptile here (steppe runner) and it had mites and was in bad health. When i tried to return it just over a week later, I was refused even an exchange due to a 5 day health guarantee. Sell good reptiles and bump your guarantee up to 14 days like every other business!! more

Best Pet Store in Southern Indiana 3/28/2010

As an animal lover who has dogs and cats, I have done my fair share of shopping at various pet shop in the Evansville area. Over the past year, I have only purchased pet supplies, and a couple of pets, from Harp's Pets. Upon walking through the door, I am usually greeted right away and asked if I would like any help. When I need help, their staff proves themselves to be the most knowledgeable around. The store has a wide variety of pet supplies and an amazing collection of animals; I take my daughter in occasionally to see their newest dogs and birds. Another plus is that the store is very clean. My advice to anyone looking for the best pet shop experience around Evansville would be to make a trip to Harp's Pets. more
