Harpo's

Harpo's is a very large bar without a whole lot to distinguish it. It has a huge beautiful patio in the back, interspersed with big shade-providing sycamores, but the tables and chairs are all made of cheap plastic. Half the times I've been there, I've had to wipe my chair off myself, before sitting down. The tap selection is average, and the service, if you're not sitting right up at the bar, is pretty poor. You have to specifically ask for a pint glass, or they'll pour your beer into a big plastic tub, for more money. It's a very attractive bar that could be run a lot better. more

Harpo's is just a great all around bar located in Westport. It is often the busiest when the MU Tigers are playing. Harpo's has an upstairs area that is great for a large group and also has a patio out back that is a very fun atmosphere. On a nice day it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks and some appetizers. Their happy hour prices for both food and drinks are great. The margarita's are just right and the chicken quesadillas are very tasty and filling. You can get just about any appetizer you want. Their sandwiches are usually great too. The service can vary depending on how busy they are. However, if you are watching a game or sitting on the patio you are so relaxed you don't mind. The beer is always cold! Definitely a great place to meet up with some friends and just chill. A fun place! more

Harpo’s is located in the heart of Westport and is packed full of college aged students on the weekends. It’s considered an MU bar, but all sorts of college fans turn out. The drink specials are typically good, especially during the week. They have a huge back deck, which is a rarity is Westport. more
