I can't say enough good things about this stable. I have been at Harmony for over 10 years and at different times have been a boarder, leasor, and basic student taking the once-a-week lesson. The barn owner and trainer is a wonderful horse person who genuinely cares about her students and horses-her foundation is mostly dressage but she has eventing experience and has trained several students from walk-trot to eventing (beginner novice-prelim) successfully. Students have also competed in national and regional eventing championships. \r
While the show team is a part of Harmony, the majority of the barn is the school program. All the school ponies are happy, experienced, and safe to ride. Safety and fun are the two main priorities. Mini shows and gymkanas are also held for students who are interested.\r
As a boarder, the horses are well cared for with a very knowledgable barn manager in charge. There isn't a whole lot of turnout but every horse gets a half day in a well maintained paddock. Space is an issue but it is managed well with 2 outdoor rings and 1 indoor. Lots of ""field trips"" are made to school crosscountry and to trail ride. \r
It is really a fun barn that I would recommend for both the experienced competitor and the raw beginner-there's room for both :)
Pros: great people, great horses
Cons: facilities
