I have been collecting coins off and on for about 60 years and have been a regular customer of Harford Coins for about 25 years, so I know something about buying, selling, and trading coins. I am really appalled at some of the negative comments about Harford. ""Offering less than face value on silver coins""? ""rude and condescending""? ""ripping off (someone) that knew nothing about coins""? I doubt if any dealer could stay in business for almost fifty years if he treated customers like that. Would I be a regular customer of such a dealer? \r

There is nothing wrong with not being knowledgeable about coins. But when an experienced, honest dealer gives you the benefit of his expertise, be civil. Don't get angry if you don't get what YOU think they are worth. He is the expert and that is why you went to him in the first place.
