If you like gambling with your money, go with Hardyston Paving. If you want transparency, professionalism and communication pay the extra dollar and go somewhere else. I was quickly quoted at the end of February 2017 and was told it was a day or day and a half job tops. Paid our 50% deposit on April 10th. On April 27th I received a phone call asking if they can do the driveway the next day on April 28th. I agreed and took off of work. They didn’t show up until the early afternoon. Dropped a machine in my driveway without saying anything and came back a few hours later. Once the driveway was torn up Reggie said that they would be back Monday to complete the job as the Asphalt Plant just opened up that day for the season. I agreed again and took off of work on Monday May 1st. He was a no call/no show. I called an left a message and never received a phone call back. Over the course of the 3 more weeks, I left 4 messages. 2 of them with his secretary and 2 with the answering machine. After a google search of his name, I found out he was arrested that weekend for a DWI of .23 while running off on a tab at Hooters in Wayne, NJ. A police officer was injured in the process and he used racially charged verbiage at the hospital. I also found that he was fined for illegal dumping in Andover Township that same month. So, now knowing his character, on May 22nd I gave a final call to his office where a new male assistant answered the phone. He was apologetic and told me that Reggie basically blew off completing my job for other jobs. I advised that if I did not hear back by that evening that I would file a police report. In the interim, I called my zoning officer and found out that he also never applied for the permit as promised. That evening when I returned home I filed the police report. When filing the report I also found out that he was recently escorted off of Black Bear Golf Club for vile and lewd behavior. more

Hardyston Paving is the most unreliable, unprofessional, and inconsiderate company to deal with. Two months after our asphalt driveway and stone patio were installed they were damaged and falling apart. The owner, Reggie, informed us he would fix it within the next 2 weeks and it has been 2 MONTHS and he hasn't returned our phone calls and voicemails. I would NEVER recommend Hardyston Paving to anyone!! Stay away and find another company!! more

They did an excellent job and had the best price in town. We own a house in the north end of the city with a tight walkway between two properties. They pulled out all the old concrete and did a wonderful job laying the new. Would recommend again. more

This company did everything they said they would do and came back to make sure we were satisfied. They went beyond and made good suggestions for making our driveway looks and functions great! We have had only good comments on how great our driveway looks! Thanks guys! more

From the estimate to completion was extremely pleased with the choice I made. We weren`t sure what we wanted, but they helped us immensely in designing and providing different ideas, even recommending the appropriate concrete color and asphalt grades for the paving of driveway. Crew was friendly and hardworking. It has been over a year now since we had our project completed and we are very happy with the quality and service provided. We used this company to do driveway top work. We have a large/wide dirveway and they were able to do the job as their estimate described. We had two other estimates -both highter, but were pleased with the work. more

They came in as one of the most reasonable quotes and at times you think you are compromising quality but the job was done on time, they were clean, efficient and it was overall a great job. more
