Good Times @ Hard Times 2/24/2006

I really like HardTimes cafe. Its locate in Glenwood South and if often where we will go to dinner before heading out on Glenwood for the Night. Unlike many of the other restuarnts in the general area. Hard Times is not terribly expensive as far as food goes. Their food is great, and the service I have recieved there has always been stellar. A great place for dinner. more

Cute Cafe with Good Chili 2/23/2006

The Hard Times Cafe, located on Glenwood Avenue in downtown Raleigh, specializes in serving chili. They prepare four types of chili - vegetarian, Texas, Cincinnati with a hint of cinnamon and old fashioned chunky chili. The server brings a small dish to your table when she greets you with a sample of each chili. The Texas chili had a nice kick to it, but I thought the other three were bland and tasteless. more
