Great place for all! 11/25/2011

I've been a regular for over a year. Sure, they've had their ups and downs but...who hasn't? Great service, food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Their staff turnover is due to their demanding standards. Contrary to some beliefs, the Williamson County Deputies and Georgetown Police don't 'stalk' the place...it just happens to be located on an acces road near a high-volume exit. If one is afraid to drink there then moderation is only common sense. I've driven my car, my truck and my bike to/from there regularly and I've often noticed the presence of law enforcement but I've only known of one person to get pulled over...and he deserved it because he should have taken the staff's advice/offer of getting a cab. more

Excellent food and music venue 7/14/2011

\r I live in Georgetown and have been to Hardtails about 4-5 times. The food has been very good- I do not eat meat only seafood sothe last time I was there I told the waitress and she said ""I will fix you up"" and she did- out came a wonderful spinach salad with grilled tilapia on the top and a really nice vinagrette dressing on the side. \r The real reason I wanted to write was to thank Hardtails for bringing in a blues legend. Last night Willie ""big eyes"" Smith the Chicago blues harmonica player (Grammy winner) did a tribute to Pine Top Perkins. I had to pinch myself - it was so awesome. There we were under the gorgeous trees in front of the outdoor stage. Having recently moved to Georgetown from west Austin I had NO idea that there would be such a place. Instead of being in the small packed Antones in Austin- we were able to relax and spread out. I wish there had been more people there- I think it being a wednesday night was a problem and also it is a big outdoor venue. Again all I can say is "" thankyou"" to Hardtails for having such great taste in music and making it happen in Georgetown! Please bring us more.......\r more

Bad service, Cops watching, 8/12/2010

I have never been treated so bad as I was here.\r The male bartender thinks he is to good to serve you and the prices are out of control. Try to get service if you are setting out side is nearly impossible. Unless your one of the employees drinking then. Food is good, don't stay passed 10:00 or you will be pulled over by the police. Place is to hot for me to drink at. more
