3rd Generation Family Business.
Herman Harder began serving our community over 75 years ago. He wanted the Harder Funeral Home to feel warm, welcoming and comfortable. Special care and attention has been our signature ever since. A Little History - In 1942 the first Harder Funeral Home opened its door in Fond du Lac Ave. on the north side of Milwaukee. I joined my dad in 1969 after graduating from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science. Together, in 1974, we opened our second location in Brookfield to serve families west of Milwaukee. Today, my son Eric and I, complete three generations fulfilling our family tradition of personal dedication to serving the special needs of families in our community along with our Associates James T. Guardalabene and John J. Clark.
