I would not recommend this business. I am a huge proponent of local retailers. I try very hard to avoid the big box chains. However, an experience I had with Harbour's today makes me realize why many of the independent retailers are going out of business. \r

I have been a solid customer of this retailer - I have purchased 2 vacuums - and had my sewing machine repaired at this retailer. I have purchased parts for my machines and regularly purchased vac bags. \r

2 months ago I purchased a $15 pkg. of bags for my Vac. Last week my vacuum died, motor burnt. I even called Harbours to see how much a new motor would be. Yesterday I found the unopened pkg of bags and thought I could return them for a refund. In these economic times everyone can use an extra $15. \r

Harbours would not give me a refund for the unopened - less than 60 day purchased bags. \r
