Cheating Employees which leads to mistreatment of Residents 4/27/2011

Many employees report being underpaid, cheated out of hours with an excuse that the time clock didn't work or no excuse at all. Nurses and caregivers are upset and they've reduced staff and existing staff has to do work of 2 or more. We've heard of nurses and caregivers being mean to residents just passing along this poor treatment of employees to them. The bookkeeper Tracy lost $6,000 and they can't find it. She appears to be mishandling the books inside and seems to be the one responsible for the cost cutting and cheating of employees. more

Impressive 7/19/2009

People were so very welcoming which even overshadowed the magnificent appearance. It was not at all what I was expecting assisted living to look like. Just gorgeous.\r Everyone seemed happy and the staff were so nice to us. What impressed me most was my lunch. (I like to eat). It was like we were enjoying mom's cooking all over again. (She hasn't cooked in years). \r Pros: Amazingly gorgeous community! Cons: Ice cream parlor didn't have mocha choka latta. I'm picky. more

Wonderful Place 7/19/2009

Balmoral has a wonderful program where residents are not just given excellent care but where they are celebrated.\r \r The residents are having fun there and seem really happy, The food is excellent and the building is beautiful. When you look down on the dining room from the second floor balcony, it is very impressive.\r \r I know many of the care givers there and they are just wonderful. They treat the residents with dignity and give them sincere affection.\r \r I highly recommend this community if you are looking for a great place for your mom or dad. They have refused my unemployment! 6/29/2009

Wil I will be getting a lawyer. They have refused my unemployment since May. Also refused other employees to get theirs as well. I refuse to take this BS from Angie Dunkley. I will also be writing to the Channel 13 Fox and Congressmen and To Governer Christ. And to the Corp. office. \r They have not heard the last of me. Pros: They are surely different when you get in the door. Cons: Angie Dunkley needs to go more
