Old Stores but you can't go wrong 11/29/2005

Although the Har Mar strip mall is one of the oldest strip malls in the Twin Cities, it is a must stop for all who are passing through and those who have lived here forever! It offers a wide variety of stores, including a Baja Sol, a Northwestern and Barnes & Noble book stores, a great scrapbooking store, several other great restuarants for any price range along with a TJ Maxx and a Marshalls--both good stores but tiring to shop in. You can also catch a movie while you're strolling through. I would recommend that you check out the pet store as well--I can never get enough of the both crazy and cute animals in pet stores! It is a good opportunity to enjoy the benefits of having a pet, without the responsibility! more

Har Mar Strip Mall is a Twin Cities Staple 9/27/2005

The Har Mar Strip Mall located on Snelling in Roseville is a twin cities landmark. You can give pretty much anyone directions from it just say "Har Mar" and they know what you mean. Maybe that's because it's been around since the 1960's. Unfortunately, it looks that way sometimes. But Har Mar does boast one of the best Barnes & Noble's in the cities, as well as a slew of other shopes like Home Goodes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Old Chicago, Michaels Arts And Crafts, Penningtons (great soups), Baja Sol, a TCF Bank, Marshalls, TJ Maxxx, Cub Foods, Northwestern Book Store and more. They also have a small AMC Theater there you can check out. more

A decent mini-mall 8/19/2005

Har Mar Mall is one of the staples of the Twin Cities area. This small mall has been around since the 1960s and even has a musician named after it (Har Mar Superstar). Although for the shopping elite this mall is not very impressive, for those of us who like mid-range retailers like Barnes & Noble and discount stores like Marshall's, it's great. There are several restaurants within the mall, such as Buffalo Wild Wings and Old Chicago, and a Cub Foods grocer was added fairly recently. There is even a pet store with a ton of cute animals. It's a fun place to walk around. more

An interesting hodge podge of shops 8/18/2005

Har Mar Mall is a tiny little mall on the east side of Snelling. They have a movie theater, Barnes and Noble, nice little Pet Shop and several other places. I'm usually there to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings or look for a book. Most of the shops there are pretty odd looking and I've been scared to go in a lot of them. more

Oldie, but goodie 8/18/2005

Har Mar Mall probably was a nice mall, at a different time. However, it still does have a few good things going for it. You can get a burrito at Baja Sol, drop in for a beer at Old Chicago, then peek at the cute pets at the pet store. You could also catch a movie or grab a book! more

entertainment not so much shopping 8/18/2005

Har Mar Mall has a few good things going for it. It's fun to be able to shop a little and then go catch a movie. Har Mar is made up of mostly specialty shops. Barnes and Noble and Northwestern Bookstore both have a ton of good things to look at. There is also a fairly good scrapbook store. Those few stores are what keep Har Mar going in my opinion. It's a good place to stop quick - not necessarily shop. more
