Owner, John Noone, really knows his dogs 12/8/2008

John Noone has been running my dog, Tucker, every week for the past 3 months. Tucker is a very active Border Collie who has a lot of "issues" from being so smart and being bored all day while I am at work. John varies the run location each week depending on Tucker's needs and I am always guaranteed a tired dog when I come home from a long day of work. John is amazing and really has the patience and compassion to be working with dogs (you can tell her does this because he truly loves dogs and running). Tucker has gone to doggy daycare, and while I think that is great for socialization, nothing beats a long run for both mental and physical stimulation. I love this company and can't recommend it enough for a well balanced dog. Pros: Great customer service, John really knows his dogs Cons: Can't think of anything, this is great more

great help in calming an active dog 10/10/2008

Happy Trails is a great solution both with calming my hyperactive dog and providing some outdoor time mid-day while I am at work--less guilt for me if I'm late getting home. Everything with the runner is going very smoothly. I'm surprised how comfortable I have become in entrusting my dog to someone else. I'm pretty excited to find a service like this in Portland.Dog walking is one thing, but some dogs just need more serious exercise than that--those are the dogs (like mine) that need a runner. more
