We rented tables, chairs, dishes, and a tent from Happy Rentz for our wedding this spring (2008). HR confirmed the delivery time for these items would be before 12:00 pm. We sent a diagram for the tent placement on the property and they confirmed receipt. We had a very tight schedule on friday for setting up and organized the schedule of all involved around the 12 pm delivery time. At 12:15 we called and they said that they would be there an hour late. After 1:00 we called and they said that they would be there at 2:00. We asked if the truck had left the site yet and they said that it had not and that they had ""more important obligations"". When they arrived just after 2:00, my groomsmen had to help unload the truck. These are people not employed by HR and who may not have had training in how to operate the equipment or unload heavy items from trucks. Twice I saw large stacks of chairs get accidentally dropped off of a 4-wheel dolly near members of the bridal party. HR started setting up the tent on the wrong site. The bride's mother had to argue with the delivery people in order to correct the location. Note that they had a correct diagram and just chose to ignore it. While on the phone, they offered us a discount. They said that we would have to come in on Monday to settle the arrangements. When we went into the store they where again very rude. We were told that we should have expected them to be late and that it was not a big deal. We were also told that, because my fiance yelled at them over the phone, they would not be giving us a discount. This is despite the fact that one was promised us in response to the company being late on the deliveries. The owner also told us in person that her drivers were upset that we were upset with them for being late and had talked about picking up all of the items that had already been delivered. The owner said that she agreed with their desire and would not have apologized for it. She said this even though we had already paid.
Cons: They were very rude at every step in the process.
