Happy Hollow Pet Lodge

While we have been pleased with Happy Hollow for previous stays, we will not return again. They did not feed our dogs their dinner meals or pill supplements for 2 out of the 3 nights they stayed. I had carefully put each morning and evening meal and pills in individual serve plastic bags and when we arrived to pick them up, two of the meals and pills were still in the individual boxes by dogs. I also counted a prescription that one of our dogs is on for hip dysplasia and he received 3 too many pills! (I've now called the vet to find out what we should do.) When I asked how they could not feed our dogs on two days, there was no explanation or apology. The owner simply said "guess you should take your dogs elsewhere"! Yes I will. more

Each time I board my dogs at Happy Hollow Pet Lodge I always have a great experience. The staff is oh so friendly and are always going out of their way to help. I love it they are open Sunday's 5-6 for you to pick up your pets!!\r I have also had my dog trained by Richard and he is the most professional, and really helped me help my dog!! I would definitely recommend his training to everyone more

We are very unhappy with Happy Hollow Pet Lodge. We have taken our dogs there several times and everything WAS fine. There was one time when we went to pick up our golden and they told us they only had one golden and it was not ours. His name was Jack. We were devastated and I asked to see the dog. It was ours. We still ended up going back as we were confident that they had just made a mistake. My folks kept their dogs there once when they were here from WI because we had to go to KC. They had to throw out the dogs blankets and pillows on the way back home to WI because they stunk so bad of urine. They asked us why we would go there with ours - but up to that point everything had been OK. We took our dogs back this last Christmas. We should have listened to our folks. Our golden smelled like urine and looked like he had been laying in it when we picked him up. I could hardly stand the smell in our vehicle. I called today to see if they had any openings..only as a last reso more

Happy Hollow is an excellent boarding kennel. Your dog will have his/her own indoor/outdoor living area and cats have a beautiful natural exercise area. Make sure you ask about other pets they will board too. more
