Happy Garden Chinese

I just moved to Minnetrista and was very excited to receive a chinese delivery menu, that I had to give it a shot. My wife and I ordered asian food atleast once a week before we moved out here. First, they said it would take 25 minutes and it was here in 50. Second, the wings had a wierd texture, therefore, I only ate 2 of them. The potstickers were not too bad, they were edible which was a plus. I should have taken a picture of the Mongolian beef before I threw the whole box away because it just looked horrendous. It looked like they fried something that was supposed to be beef with some onions and garlic. There was no sauce at all. I tried a bite just to see if they had a different take on the dish and soon realized that I shouldn't have put it in my mouth. I instantly had a second full box of food in my trash. Lastly, my wife and I tried the vegetable lo mein. This was not too bad, but once again, there was no sauce or flavor to the dish. Also, there were little to no vegetables in the noodles and the only prominant one was canned mushrooms. Needless to say, that box went in the trash after we ate two small portions. I actually found myself eating the white rice with soy sauce in the end because I was still hungry. Pros: Delivered Cons: Everything Else more

SO gross. All the food tastes stale and old and the egg rolls smell like trash, refused to eat them. Will never go back and by the looks of the place when I went to pick up my food it's the dining area is just as nasty as the food, not surprised. Will never eat their food again. Cons: Nasty food, and disgusting dining area, needs to be shut down by the state. more

Bad, Bad, Bad. I have been eating Chinese for years. I even worked in a Chinese Food for 5 years. This place tops the list of the worse that I have ever eaten. My favorite Chinese dish is Ma Po Tofu. I have never seen Ma Po Tofu that looked liked this. The tofu was deep fried and tasted like it was old. I threw out whole dish. The shrimp fried rice had very small shrimp that must of been frozen. It was completely tasteless. I love rare beef, but not in my Lo Mein. The noodles were even bloody from the raw meat. I order some kind of special egg roll. It was awful. Tasted old and was full of grease. The kids did enjoy their Egg Drop Soup and Cream Cheese Puffs. In addition, they told me it would take 10 mins and it took 35 minutes on a Tuesday night. I usually give every place a second chance, but not this time. I will go back to the other Chinese place in town, Asia Bistro. It is only a mile further down the road and cheaper. Pros: It is within Walking Distance of my home. Cons: I have to go back to driving to get my Chinese. more
