I have been to this store on many occasions. I am always greeted like a friend. The store is very relaxed and comfortable, a very family oriented place. There are crayons and color books for the kids making it easier for me to shop as well as a free lolipop for the well behaved kids. She also has a free cup of coffee for anyone to make it feel more like we am visiting her home and not shopping at a business. There is a recliner, numerous chairs and a tv so that if I feel like it I am welcome to sit and view a movie or tv program or just read a book. There is usually a good video playing that I would let my kids and grandkids watch. I never worry about what is playing because she makes sure that it is something appropriate.
Sandy, the owner, is very funny and always makes me laugh. She treats everyone that comes in as if they are her best friend. She genuinely cares about how I and my family are doing.
This is an exchange store and Sandy has a large selection of used books, used DVDs and VHS tapes at very affordable prices. There is also a nice selection of custom made gift baskets, jewelry, miscellaneous gift items and theatre size boxes of candy and popcorn (to go with the movies) making it a very nice place to shop. I tell her that she prices things too low. She lets me shop at my own pace but is always willing and able to help me find what I need. She is the only store in the area that I know of that carries VHS tapes for sale. She hopes to soon be renting videos as well.
I can't recommend it more. I tell all of my friends and family that they should go there and check it out. It is well worth the time and effort. When I leave Sandy always thanks me for coming and says she appreciates the fact that I came and asks me to come and visit again real soon. How many other businesses do that? If you try going there once, you will be hooked. So, give it a try you won't be sorry.
Pros: Very friendly with a nice selection.
Cons: A little hard to find the first time.
