This place is not too bad, however the staff are not trained at all. They may like dogs but proper training is not administred. The training is done by the staff who were there before neither of which are the owner who herself is not professionally trained in handling dogs, treating wounds, obediance training etc..The grooming here is terrible, its like petsmart or petco. They do not brush out the dogs or expel all of the anal glands. Also, many of the cuts i have seen are very choppy and with matts still left in them. The bathing is a sad excuse for dog bathing and is ridiculously over priced. I do believe they have the best intentions in heart but i would definatly not bring my dog here again.\r \r -Matt Leblanc more

I don’t know who loves Happy Dog Day Care more, my husband and I or our two little doggies. We drop them off twice a week so they can get their energy out and play with other dogs, and they come back calm and ready to sleep, which is really nice when you’ve worked all day. They also love playing with the staff who are all really friendly and seem to genuinely care about our little buddies and look forward to seeing them. When we go out of town we swing by and drop them off and they spend the week or weekend playing with other dogs instead of being stuck in a cage, which helps us enjoy our vacation so much more knowing little buddies are having fun too. It’s also fun getting to watch them on the various webcams. Thankfully they also give a discounted rate for the second dog, which helps a ton. Our doggies have been going to Happy Dog for about a year and a half now, and we are so thankful for the place. Michelle more

Happy Dog Care Awesome 11/12/2011

My husband and I cannot say enough about the quality of care our dogs, Hunter and Roxie, received during their 3 month stay at Happy Dog Care. Yes, I did say 3 months. At the beginning of the summer 2011 we relocated to this area and needed a place for our dogs to stay while our new home was under construction. Although this arrangement (full time extended care) was a new venture for Julie and her staff, they were willing to help us out during our transition to the area. The staff provided excellent care and gave our dogs lots of attention. They were very accommodating, allowing us to pick Hunter and Roxie up and take them for extended more

WORST PLACE EVER! 2/24/2011

When I showed up for our first day, I walked into a dog being yelled at and kicked. I thought ""okay, maybe it's a misunderstanding on my part"" and ignored it. A girl came out from the back and ripped my dog's leash out of my hand without even asking me. The other girls didn't even speak to me. They are VERY rude here. When I asked why their webcams are not working, they said they have a rat problem. You should NOT be open if you have any kind of bug or rodent problem. They can give the animals rabies and other things! When I said I want my dog back, they girl rolled her eyes at me and walked away saying ""what ever then."" Next thing I know, I hear her yelling at him ""COME HERE! STAY! GET OFF ME YOU STUPID DOG!! NO COME HERE NOW!!! STAY!!"" After that, he came around the corner shaking, crawling on the floor and when he saw me, he clung to me and hid behind me. They told me he is not obedient at all, then I told him to sit and he did. I asked them if they thought that he was not being obedient because he was being screamed at and abused. The girl laughed and walked away. If you think of your pet as your family/kid like I do and you care about their safety DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND ABUSIVE PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! THEY SHOULD NOT BE AROUND ANY ANIMAL EVER! more

Fun for your Dog while you are at work! 5/23/2008

I am at home now most of the day with my 2 year old daughter so I don't send my dog to Happy Dog Care anymore but when i did it was great! I watched my Dog from work on the computer ""doggy cam"" and saw her having so much fun running inside and outside as she pleased. Thats the best about this place-- the dogs can go outside when they wish. They even had ""hot tubs"" for the dogs in the summer to cool off. They were filled with cool water , not hot ,and there was a misting area. So cool. The staff was great and treated my dog like one of their own. Check it out for yourself- your dog will be happy you did! Pros: Clean, Parking, Cage-free, Friendly staff more
