As in so many cases, funerals need to be planned suddenly and often one might be wary of the selected Funeral Home. In this instance, we were so fortunate to turn to Hannemann's Funeral Home in Nyack, NY, as they went beyond the call to assist, advise and give information that was exemplary in it's usefulness. We worked with two of their three funeral directors and each spent time giving us options and ideas to assist in planning a military funeral for a loved one. We were amazed at their depth of knowledge, caring demeanor and suggestions to make this sad occasion not only memorable but also as seamless as it could be. They showed that a funeral home can make a difference, not only in cost (well below all others in pricing) but in the home-town care that was shown to our family Not from their town. When it was time to plan my mother's funeral we talked to several funeral directors. Before we even we sat with Keith Taylor at Hannemann's, we spoke with him on the phone. When he said thatthey would take care of bringing my mom home, he was family and I knew this was the place to bring her. Keith and his staff brought us so much comfort that my husband's dad's service was moved there and years later my mother in law was also at Hannemann's. A number of years and many miles have come between. When I recently spoke with Keith about a special request, he was as compassionate and caring as if I had been in the office yesterday.
