I ordered them for an outside plumbing problem, so I called and set up an appointment. They arrived right around the scheduled time and performed the job in around an hour and a half. Everything was done to satisfaction. A few days later they called just to make sure everything was okay, which I thought was rather nice. more

Excellent 1/11/2013

My experience with Handyman Matters of Schaumburg was unusually above average compared to my other service experiences. They have been on time, very conscientious, cordial, understanding, and they care about doing the job correctly. They are returning on Monday, for the third time, and will be doing a repair on a door that doesn't close properly. more

Excellent. 1/2/2013

We found Handyman Matters through our leasing office of our condo. We used them most recently because we had an extreme leak out of the bathroom. They fixed the tub, the seal, redid walls, and cut the mold out of our other bathroom. Everything looks really good. They have done some other handyman work for us before. more

Quick, easy, quality. 12/3/2012

For one, I like that Handyman Matters responds well. Sometimes there's a slight delay, but it's good enough for me. The same gentleman has done work for me on three different occasions, and he is really good. The gentleman they send gets it done, he's fast but thorough, and he cleans up after himself. If he's doing paint or touch-ups, there's no wood chips left. If there's garbage to be put out, he puts it in a nice little stack. I appreciate that. He also makes recommendations on things I might want to do, and gives me better ideas than the ones I had. more

Our microwave went out, and I didn't want to fiddle around with putting a new one in. We bought a new one and called up Handyman Matters. They came out the next day, and he and his helper put the microwave in. They charged us the lowest amount necessary for the work. more

Flexible, prompt, accurate, and complete. 11/28/2012

Handyman Matters did some repair work on my gazebo. They replaced some wood and did some of the structural support that I didn't want to do myself. I did some preliminary work and they picked it up from there, doing the work that I didn't dare do. I liked their willingness to work with me on that. He answered questions in regards to the things he was servicing very appropriately and efficiently. We were referred by Francine Savich who was helping us get our mother-in-law's house in order. more

Easy to do business with and dependable 7/19/2012

Need to be able to give work order with limited information and have someone grab that ball and run with it which is what is done with Handyman Matters. Also the understanding of state funds and how it works is a plus. Work is excellent as well. more

Knowledgeable and the work was well done 3/12/2012

I was looking for a company that could handle small jobs around the house and I went with Handyman Matters Schaumburg because I know Bob from my church. They have done quite a few things around my house, including paint which turned out just fine. They also stained and hung doors which turned out pretty well, and they have done some minor repairs in my bathroom. I liked that they arrived when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. more

The guy had come from Handyman Matters was actually the same guy both times. He has come twice now for different things, and he knew what he was doing. He was very knowledgeable, very polite, and he cleaned up after himself. It was a very pleasant experience, and it was very easy. more

They were good. 2/8/2012

This is the second time we've used Handyman Matters. I had some trim I was finishing off, but I was having a difficult time being able to cut the angles on my own because they were some unusual angles. I called Handyman Matters because we've used them in the past, and it all ended up good this time too. more

Best all-incompasing Handyman service! 9/27/2008

Handyman Matters was so great!! They scheduled us so quickly and did the entire job in much less time than planned. I also tacked on a couple more projects and they were able to get those done too! Dorin and was our handyman that day and he was attentive to detail and did not skip any steps to get the job done right!! Pros: Quick work, quality repairs, covered shoes, very curteous Cons: none at all! more
