I still remember the grape 'scream 6/25/2002

Wow. Handel's. Truly some of the best ice cream I ever had in my life. Total childhood memories. I remember splitting a colorful grape, strawberry and banana trio with my brothers. Can't be beat in Y-town. more

Ice Cream of the Gods 5/20/2002

I've been going to Handel's since before I can remember. I grew up just a few blocks from the original location in Youngstown--and some of my fondest memories of childhood revolve around the walks to and from Handle's. The anticipation on the way there was incredible and the satisfaction on the way home was unmatched. Best bet? Chocolate Pecan--everytime. Pros: Chocolate pecan, Butter Brickle, Mocha Crunch more
