i was told my tendon was to be be used as a spacer betwen the bones for arthritis. I found out AFTER the surgery the tendon is balled up and used IN PLACE of the joint. My right hand is FAR WORSE than before the surgery, and the pain is worse as well. I had use of my hand, although painful, before the surgery. My hand was turned into a claw. I have VERY limited use. Dr. Conyers tried to tell me that I may have OTHER things wrong with it, that it wasn't his fault. He, and his assistant did admit that the cast was too tight, which affected another tendon in my hand. After seenig other doctors, I found that there are still bone spurs (that were there before the surgery, and I understand would be taken care of) and that they agree that my hand is NOT what it should be. PLEASE get a second, third, fourth opinion if necessary. I have lost my right hand due to him.
Pros: Parking garage across the street
Cons: Everything else. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.
