my first visit to them, after being with the same dr for four years in another county, the office is dirty, large bags of garbage all over the hallways. i saw a np who was very rude and tried to force me to get a vaccine i had already told her i was not interested in. having to go back (after many issues with scheduling) they scheduled me with one of their head dr's, who was nicer. the desk staff tried to force me to take a pregnancy test and argued with me when i told them there was no need. then calling for test results the desk staff told me to go somewhere else as, according to them ""i wasnt happy"". i gave them one star bc i had to rate them something, otherwise i'd give them nothing more

We just had our first child, the doctors at this office are great but everybody around them horrible. Reception at this office is very rude.Now for them to do their job is to much to ask for, we faxed them a claim form for disability i made sure to call them to see if they recieved it they did. We called Hamburg OBgyn to find out whats going on after 10 days nurse told us it was sent out. No disability check i called Guardian they have nothing on file. So i called Hamburg OBGYN again it turns out at firs the lady that does disability is out sick, after about 10 minutes of a very rude conversation they cant find paperwork.So i go to fax the form again the girl that was faxing the paperwork over to office said this happened to her also. I have been a patient of Hamburg Gyn & Ob for 11 years. Specifically, my doctor is Scott Zuccala. I have never had a bad experience either at the office, or with any of the doctors while I was in the hospital having either of my children. Dr. Zuccala has been excellent every step of the way! He's super gentle and gets things done quickly, but has always made sure to be thorough at the same time. When I insisted on a regular delivery of my son, he was very supportive of me, even though he highly recommended a c-section. Long story short, it all worked out. I would never consider changing doctors, and I liked the doctors at this group so well that now my mother, two of my sisters, and several of my friends have become patients here also. We're all VERY happy. Pros: Excellent and supportive doctors and staff. more

I have been going to Dr. Zuccala & Dr. Lauria at Hamburg OB/GYN for at least 10 years and think these two drs. are excellent! I have read the other reviews. I cannot imagine Dr. Zuccala being rude to anyone. Ever. I think he's professional, kind, supportive, honest, helpful, etc... etc... . Dr. Lauria is our family's hero. He saved our son in an emergency c-section 5-1/2 years ago. These drs. have been a rock of appropriate professional help through two very challenging pregnancies. As for the rude receptionist, this WAS true. She was absolutely the WORST. However, they've since let her go, so that's no longer an issue. I drive 35 minutes to get to this practice and would never go anywhere else. In addition, I have recommended five friends to the practice and every one of them has thanked me! Pros: These drs. are kind and attentive. Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a little bit. more

As a person who will soon be relocating to another state, I am not looking forward to finding doctors. I'm especially sad that I'll have to find another obgyn. From my first visit with Dr. Zuccala I've been extremely pleased with his attentiveness. He treats you like you are his only patient. I never feel rushed and I always receive a call from him personally with any test results that need to be communicated. I would highly recommend him and his staff. As far as wait time, I have never waited more then 10 minutes pass my scheduled appointment time. Pros: Very friendly, attentive, excellent quality of care. more

Dr Scott Zuccalla was my OBGYN for years until a failed pregnancy. \r \r When gathering information about birth control options (including vasectomy) he told my husband and I that we were too ""liberal "" to make decisions about our lives and to go ""discuss that liberal stuff at (a local coffee house), not here"". We wanted to weigh our options as two educated adults, not be talked down to like children. \r \r Than, to top it off, his staff called a week later to tell me I had a positive pregnancy test. This was after many visits with him about my miscarraige of that very pregnancy! He didn't even remember the time frame of my medical history.\r \r I'll never go back after being talked down to at a time when he should have been the most caring!\r \r I do not recommend Dr Zuccalla of Hamburg OBGYN. I decided to go to this drs office with my second childs pregnancy because i had such a terrible experience with my first elsewhere. The people in this facility are amazing. They talk you through everything, it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially people like me who are incredibely\r uncomfortable with these drs visits. They always make you feel comfortable. i've also never had a problem with a rude receptionist there. Pros: great staff more

I have never been so upset with a doctors office before. I made an appt. for a general check-up, and b/c i found out that at the time of my asppt. i wouldent have any insurance i had to cancel. So i called the office and a lady answered and this is how the conversatio went. ME: Hi i would just like to cancel my appt. HER: um whats your name ME: jane doe HER: spell it (rude voice) ME: J-A-N-E-D-O-E ME: the reason that i am cancelling is because... HER: OK THANK YOU BUH BYE!!!!
