Hana Restaurant & Sushi Bar

My husband and I are in the process of buying a home up in Middletown. One sat we took a drive to check out the area and came across Hana. A co-worker of my husbands has eaten there and said to try it out. We went in for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Just the type of place we like to eat. It was pretty quiet at the time about 4:30 on a Saturday. The service was great, the food was great! I will definetly make this one of my regular spots to eat when we move up to middletown. It's a little on the pricey side, but the sushi rolls are fantastic. I order sushi to take out often, and also dine in sometimes. It's lovely inside, and service is good. There's a private room for large groups as well. If you're used to eating nothing but California rolls, try the Snow Roll or the Dynomite Roll -- they're amazing! Lunch specials are reasonable. The only problem I've ever had is getting the wrong order when I've called it in and I'm not sure if this was because the restaurant was too loud, or if the waitresses don't communicate well with the sushi chef. They're really nice though if you ever have a problem. Absolutely no attitude! If you're dining in, try the tiger shrimp appetizer in philo dough. So good!!
