I was looking for a place closer to home to be more convenient but I learned my lesson. Went for my exam and got a pair of trial that did nothing for me and were extremely blurry. I had found an old box of contacts from my prior eye clinic and had called to see what prescription they had compared to my old one and it was ridiculously off! They changed my prescription in the system to my old one so I was able to order new contacts. Received the contacts but when I double checked them against my old one they had put the prescription in wrong so once again I was waiting for new contacts. The people there were friendly but honestly I don't think that they know what they are doing. I have never had problems with an eye doctor before going here. I will continue to make my commute 35 min away knowing I will get the right prescription. more

I cannot leave even a single star for this "eye doctor". I was impressed by the building but unfortunately that's all I was impressed by. As soon as I walked in the door I was asked to speak my social security number in front of a room full of people!! I had to speak loudly because the receptionist was at least 8 feet away. If they ask for my sensitive, personal information in front of a group of people, I would like to know exactly how they treat my files. It was extremely unprofessional and I am shocked to this day. And to top it off I was with the doctor for only 5 min.! I would not recommend this office to anyone. It was a terrible experience and unbelievably unprofessional. more

I have gone to Dr. Hampton for about 9 years. He is a very patient doctor and takes plenty of time to answer your questions. His prices did go up a bit when he moved to his current location, but they do take most insurances. Also, he does contact exams as well as having a nice selection of frames for adults as well as kids. more
