I stayed at this hotel on July 26, 2010 and was anticipating a great stay since this property boasts about the comfort of its beds. After traveling for 7.5 hours all i was looking forward to was a good nights rest since i arrived at the hotel well after 7 PM. I was given room 401 (i believe) which had 2 beds in it. When i laid down on the 1st bed, it was hard & i could feel the springs poking me in the back, it felt like there was no cotton top on the mattress, no plushness. The 2nd bed was the same. I couldn't transfer rooms because they only had smoking rooms available. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable i have ever experienced. To say i would've gotten more sleep on a rock is an understatement. When i checked out i complained to the front desk but they only could say that they thought the room was renovated but weren't sure if the mattresses had been upgraded in the renovation. There is no way in hell that the mattresses in that room are new. I warn any potential guests to STAY AWAY from this property. After speaking to a manager they refused to refund my money. I disputed the charge through my American Express only to have it denied because i purchased my stay in advance on their website as a non-refundable reservation. So besides having to get back on the road cranky from sleep deprivation i had to pay these people to ""sleep"" in their old crickety bed. Also they don't do triple sheeting at this hotel so i question the cleanliness of their rooms, only a duvet is on the bed with a flat sheet, it smelled as if someone had slept on the 1st beds duvet and it wasn't changed out. My Grandmother awoke with a rash on her neck and complained that all night she felt like something was crawling on her besides not getting any sleep on the old, hard, springy mattress. It truly was a terrible stay and i will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn & Suites again! They advertise that they will refund your stay if you don't find their accommodations suitable but that's hogwash! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE!!
