This Hampton doesn't meet the expectations I have for Hamptons in general. I agree that the staff is very nice. However, if you depend on their free wifi, be careful where in the hotel you are. If you are at the far end-furthest away from the front desk- you will NOT get a consistent connection. So, if you staying for business and need a good connection, request a room close to the front desk and of the building. Breakfast was pretty good, but I didn't care for the hot breakfast choice of that day. So, I was a bit disappointed.\r
As for location, it is less expensive because it is outside of downtown, but you have easy access to the highway that takes you to many of the downtown exits within 10 minutes or so.\r
Again, not my finest Hampton Inn stay, but it did serve some of my needs.
