Hammond Roofing is the WORST. WARNING, stay away from using this company at all costs. You will not get good quality of work nor at good price. Hammond Roofing basically is one person, Bill Hammond, who sub contracts to other contractors to do all the work. It is very unorganized and Hammond Roofing does a poor job of managing their subcontractors. The owner is horrible to work with and is very incompetent and rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. more

Hammond Screens was a month late in doing the job as promised. The workmen who poured the concrete floor of the patio spoke no English, and there was no one available to interpret. The concrete floor is pitched toward the house with the lowest point in front of the entry door. The concrete never cured properly and never is completely dry. The worst part of it is that they will not respond to try to make it right. I am stuck with a patio that can not be cleaned without tremendous effort, and every rainfall is a nightmare. Our screen enclosure was completed 2 weeks ago. The installers did a wonderful job & did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The enclosure passed inspection last week. We're very pleased. The only negative thing I have to say is that phone calls take much too long to be returned. more

Hammond Screens built my screen enclosure over a pool. They did a terrific job. The secretaries in the office were very pleasant to deal with and always called me back with the status of my job from the beginning to the end. The manager, Carl Hammond who measured my job was very helpful and always returned my calls. He also put me on the schedule and completed my job in a timely matter. The installers did a great job building and cleaning after themselves daily. I now have a beautiful screen enclosure that my family and I can enjoy. I have only one problem after the job was completed, which was a tiny leak and I called the office and they came out within the week to repair. I would highly recommend Hammond Screens Enterprises. Pros: Been in business for over 30 years and family owned Cons: Highly recommended more

HS installed a job for me about 25 years ago. Never had a problem. Bought a new house and they recently installed a pool enclosure and everything worked without a problem. Hammond Screen built a screen enclosure over an existing patio for me. Contracted with them January 2005. It took several phone calls to get them to complete the job. Many, many leaks where the screen room attached to the house. They came once to fix the problem. Can't get them back to correct the leaks. Also, October 4, 2005 the Building inspector would not approve the structure as 1) no Notice of Commencement was filed; 2) Header to house is concealed and should have had an interim inspection - it must be opened up so inspector can see how it is attached to the house; 3) Engineering drawings left for the inspector details several different ways the screen room could have been constructed. No indication as to which way my room was constructed. It is now August 2006 and I can't get them back to take care of the violations indicated by the building inspector. Carl Hammond does not return my calls. They make a very nice screen enclosure but what good is it if it leaks and will not be approved by the building inspector? I do not recommend Hammond Screen Enterprises, Inc. Once they have your money, they are gone! Pros: Built correctly, great design. Cons: Can't get them to return to take care of violations identified by the building inspector. more

Hammond built a new screen patio and roof over patio for me. Metal roof was leaking after first rain. Call for service. They kept making appointments to come out and fix leak but never show up. Every time I called and asked for owner I was told that he was not in, I requested that he return my call but he never did. I would not recommend them because of there poor customer service. Once they get there money you will not get them back if you need them. more
