We brought our 9 year old dog here when he just wasn't acting like himself. After blood test and x-rays we found out that he had a tumor on his spleen and needed surgery to remove it and his spleen. We took him to another vet for a 2nd opinion and they wanted to charge us 4 times more for the the same surgery. We ended up coming back to Hamilton Animal Hospital and they were so very kind, patient and professional. The entire staff was so compassionate and understood that he was not just a dog but a member of our family. more

Our old dog Asia wasn't going to live much longer, they helped us make the decision to put her down without any exspensive testing etc. They layed down a blanket for us in a private room, gave her something to really make her calm. The doc asked if we were ready, after saying goodbye then gave her a final shot. We stayed in the room as long as we wanted, a couple days later picked up her ashes AND they made a very special PAW PRINT for us of hers. It was the best experience of a sad situation. more

Stay away from Hamilton Animal Hospital. If feels more like an ""animal mill."" High prices for poor quality of service. The WRONG information offered to my family about our family pet almost had us PAY them to put her down! Hamilton Animal Hospital recommended we put our dear companion to sleep! We were heart broken. My best friend suggested we to go to his vet. I wasn't too sure about it and didn't want to have another vet give me the same bad news. When we went to my friend's vet (much more reasonable office visit price) it was a different story and a new healthy beginning for our furry family member! Hamilton Animal Hospital seems to pay more attention to collecting your money, and saying ""NEXT"" than in what is best for you and your pet! more

I have been going here for YEARS With various sick pets,they are very caring and helpful Dr.'s and staff. Be careful where you take your pets...You get what you pay for!! more

This place charges the most expensive office visit fee in the area and for no good reason. It feels like they have 20 vets who just cycle around with no ties to your pet. I spent $70 for them to tell me to get my dog childrens benadryl. Save your money and go to a knowledgeable vet who isn't passing along high building rent costs to you. more
