Prior to visiting with my 2 kids I had their billing staff check coverage with my insurance to make sure there were no surprise charges after service. A couple months after service surprise! A huge bill with charges for services my insurance supposedly did not cover. I tried to contest the charges and was told they would resubmit to my insurance. I called and spoke with Latoya from their billing staff who informed me my insurance had covered everything and there were no further charges. Months later I receive a collections letter stating I am responsible for other charges not covered. Ridiculous. Further conversations with my insurance company reveal their billing staff did not submit claims to my insurance properly nor in a timely manner from the beginning and that's probably why they are trying to make me responsible. I thought since we checked coverage ahead of time this would have all been avoided. They are greedy and unsatisfied trying to make me pay more than the minimum or standard rate my insurance paid them.\r \r Their billing department is clearly incompetent and continues to change their story. The latest excuse is we were ""Out Of Network"". At no point did they EVER inform us we were ""Out of Network"" or that our services would not be covered. As explained prior, this was the first thing we asked prior to the visit. After our insurance information was given they assured us we were covered for the services requested 100%. Upon the visit they again assured us our insurance covered us entirely. If at any point they would have told us our insurance did not cover us 100%, then we would have gone elsewhere, period. They are trying to cover up their billing mistakes and I refuse to be taken advantage of. more

i would recommend this place to friends and family,(at first i canceld my appointments that i made due to reading the reviews, it really scared me, i even told them why i cancel the appointment, then the manger called me to speak to me about this and i went in for myself to see what it was really like and it was AWESOME !! very professional and friendly and great staff, and the dr.s were very helpful and explained everything to me and my children.and i read the fine print before i signed anything and i asked lots of questions and they answered all of them, i didnt have to pay anything, i have very good dental insurance. it was a very good experience. im going back again . those people who put negative reviews those who lie, about the charges etc. SHAME ON YOU. none of that happen to me. more

To This Very Day I Am Traumatized By Dr. Heidi I went to Heidi when I was six and I'm twenty now and to this very day I still remember the horrors that woman has done. I remember the first time I went there I could hear children crying in the offices while I waited in the reception area. I remember not wanting to play in the play area because I was too worried about what would be going in or coming out of my mouth in the next ten minutes. Heidi would never remember my name. Instead she thought calling me 'Princess' would make me feel better. It never did. I even asked her to call me Ashley or even Ash to which she replied 'Okay Princess.' In the most poisonous, sugar glossed voice. She would strap me down to the chair, in something called a papoose. And she didn't strap you in lightly. Oh no, those Velcro straps were tight, almost tight enough to cut flesh. Then to keep my mouth open she'd put what looked like a pair of pliers with rubber ends in my mouth, which would keep it pried open, hurting my jaw. I'm positive that she is the reason why my jaw clicks and pops and gets sore so easily nowadays. I wouldn't doubt it if she did me serious damage. Also, when she pulls a tooth, she will tell you that the tooth-fairy will not visit you because your a bad child and she doesn't reward bad children. In my opinion its not her place to say such things. She?s not your child?s mother, she does not have the right to scold children in this way! And finally, the last time I visited her she told me I had four cavities. After seeing my fear and distress from visiting her office, my mom finally decided to take me to a new dentist, Dr. Boyd, not more than a week after my visit with her. He informed me that I only had two cavities. Now, I'm positive I didn't brush away two cavities. So I don't doubt the fact that she will tell parents that their children have more cavities than they do to get more money out of them. Whatever you do, please do not take you're children here. It took me years to get over her abuse and realize that dentists don't have to hurt you and they can be gentle. I saw her commercial the other day and I was absolutely appalled that she was still in business. Women like Dr. Heidi should be banned from working with children. I go to Dr. Haze in Palmdale now, and I am simply amazed at how professional and gentle they are. more
